Nestled in the back of the home on the third floor is Sarah’s retreat. Ellen Sarah was John Emig’s wife and mother of the 11 children born in this house. This room features a full sized brass bed and oak dresser. The carefully selected bedding matches a lovely settee. Also displayed in the room is a small spinning wheel like one that would have been used during the early 1800’s. Guest’s say this is the quietest room in the house! This room also has a private bathroom
